Two Most Important Marketing Steps

Generally in digital marketing we have a product that can be ours or other's and the main goal is to sell that product as much as we can.

As you can see in the image below there are some important steps that simplify what we should go through in digital marketing. Sometimes digital marketing steps may seem complicated but if you just pay attention to the image below it will get easier.

The very first step in digital marketing is to know are Target audience. If we don't know who is our target, what they are like, what they need, and so on, we will not be able to effect them and make sales. Below we are going to use some strategies which help us understand who is our target audience.

The next important step in digital marketing is to Attract those targeted audiences using every platform online, Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, Twitter, Email marketing and so on.

Using these platforms we must direct our audience to buy our products. Along the way we are going to learn powerful strategies to convince people to become your customer.

And finally we have to analyze our online business using different analytics platform to find our business weak spots and apply the result again into our digital marketing system.

1. Target Audience

Seeing where you are going will always help you get there.

Before doing anything we must have a clear information about our target audience and what they need, that's why we must answer the 2 important question below.

  1. Who exactly are your customers and what problem are you solving for them?
  2. How will your product or service succeed in the marketplace where others may have failed?

Below I have created a template to create your target audience form and answer some important questions about your business type.

2. Market Research

Now that You know who is your target audience, it is time to make a market research and validate your idea and business plan.

Most people skip this part and straight jump into production and marketing. Then after a while they don't receive any result and they wonder where did they go wrong. When we have an idea we may think that our idea or our product is the best and it is going to kill the market, but the truth is that we don't know.

That is why we mast do a market research and validate our idea, business plan and our product.

Now that you have some idea who is your target Audience, all you have to do is to contact them and ask them about your idea, do they like it, will they use it and so on.

To make this process easier you can use different online survey platforms like:

Using these platforms you can easily create a form with couple of important questions and really check if your target audience need your product or will use it.

All you have to do is to get access to your target audience, find their emails, find them on social medias and ask them to help you by filling the forms. You must know that around 5 -10% of people you approach will fill your form only, so don't feel bad if you didn't get result at the beginning.
