Privacy Policy

What we collect

Radbit is built local-first. Your goals, tasks, habits, sessions, notes, and titles never leave your device unless you explicitly export them or sync via iCloud. We have no servers that store your personal content.

We do collect a small amount of anonymous usage data to help us understand which features are useful and where the app needs improvement:

• Anonymous device identifier — a per-app, per-device ID generated by Apple (identifierForVendor). This lets us count unique devices without knowing who you are. The ID resets if you uninstall all of our apps.
• App usage events — actions like "started a Pomodoro," "completed a task," "created a habit." We record that the action happened, never the title or content. Your reading habit is recorded as habit_created with kind=duration, not as "Read War and Peace."
• Device + app metadata — iOS version, app version, build number, device model (e.g. iPhone16,2), locale, and timezone. Helps us segment which versions need bug fixes and which device sizes our UI fails on.
• Coarse country — derived from your IP address by our server when an event is received. We don't request location permission and the app doesn't access GPS. Only the country is stored; we discard the rest.

We never collect:

• Your name, email, address, phone number, or any contact information
• The titles of your goals, tasks, habits, or sessions
• The contents of your notes
• Your precise location (no GPS, no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth)
• Your contacts, calendar events, photos, or microphone input
• Health data
• Browsing history or anything from outside the app

Where data goes

Anonymous usage events are sent to our own server (pouyaeti.com). We don't share or sell this data with any third party. We don't use third-party analytics SDKs (no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no Facebook, no Google Analytics) — everything stays in our infrastructure.

How to opt out

Open Radbit → Settings → Privacy → toggle off Anonymous analytics. The app will immediately stop collecting events and discard any events buffered for sending. You can toggle it back on at any time.

If you want all your locally-stored content removed, use Settings → Data → Delete all data. This wipes goals, tasks, habits, sessions, and check-ins from this device.

iCloud sync

If you sign into iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, Radbit syncs your data across your own Apple devices using your private iCloud database. We have no access to this data — it's encrypted in transit and stored under your Apple ID, not ours. Disabling iCloud or signing out of iCloud stops sync.

App Tracking Transparency

We do not "track" you in Apple's defined sense — we don't link any of your activity to data from other companies' apps or websites for advertising. As a result, the app does not display the App Tracking Transparency permission prompt.

Data retention

Anonymous usage events are retained for up to 24 months for trend analysis and then deleted. The anonymous device ID is stored alongside events but is never linked to any personal information, so it can't be used to identify you.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal data, there's nothing tied to you to access, correct, or delete on our side. The opt-out toggle and the local data delete described above cover what's available.

If we change what we collect, we'll update this document and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced in the app's release notes.
